Harsh Pandit, our 2013-14 Rotary Youth Exchange student from India

Harsh arrived on Friday, Aug. 16 and stayed with his first host family, Prashant and Akanksha Baandal and their son at 9663 Marshall Road until the Sunday after Thanksgiving.   On Dec. 1, Harsh moved to his second host family, the Gary and Kara Jeter family, who live at 9557 Woodridge Circle in Eden Prairie, MN 55347.
After spring break Harsh moved to his third host family, the Carlos and Jill Berger family, who live at 17412 Shelter Grove in Eden Prairie MN 55347

Harsh is a great young man ready to experience Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and America.   He's had dinner with Jane McGinty's family, gone to the Twins game with Dan O'Brien, visited the State Fair and the Arboretum, had dinners with Jeanne Zetah at Sawatdee, Don Pablo and Leeann Chin; seen some of the sites in Eden Prairie, and is up for doing lots more!!!  In one of the photos, Harsh is pictured next to the plaque honoring the "Soaring Bird: Peace through Service" sculpture funded through Rotary.

He's very interested in the sciences and thinks his future career may be in chemistry. However, when he was in a Video Production class at Eden Prairie HS first quarter, he was fascinated with all the aspects that go into making a daily news show!  Now he's in an electronics class as well as the usual courses.

Harsh helped with Bell Ringing for Salvation Army in Nov. and went to the Science Museum (where he played the banana piano) and to Holidazzle in Dec.
