LESTER BAGLEY OF THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS - WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH THE MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Lester Bagley brings three decades of public affairs and communications experience to his role as the Vikings Executive Vice President of Public Affairs and Stadium Development. Bagley completed his 12th year with the Vikings in 2016. Bagley oversees the team’s public relations, public affairs, community relations and charitable giving initiatives.
The Eden Prairie A.M. Rotary Club and a contingent of Eden Prairie High School students met at Feed My Starving Children on Feb. 21 and together packaged 6,696 nutritious meals bound for Haiti. That’s enough meals to feed 18 children for an entire year! The club also presented FMSC with a check to support its work. This rounded out A.M. Rotary’s annual visit to the charity, which uses volunteer help to hand-pack nutritious MannaPack-brand meals to reverse malnutrition around the world.
A highlight of the gathering was club member John Crudele’s testimonial to the program’s power and effectiveness. John just returned from the Philippines, where a “supplementary feeding program” partnership between FMSC and Risen Savior Missions in the Twin Cities is using the meal packs to dramatically reduce malnutrition in the Diocese of Marinduque. According to John, the program has reduced malnutrition from 25 percent to 3 percent, and now there are plans to spread the program to other areas of the Philippines.
