    KAREN WHITE: PAISLEY PARK MUSEUM
Paisley Park is managed by the same Company that manages Graceland (home of Elvis Presley) in Memphis. The museum offers tours six days per week until Labor Day. The schedule is reduced to four days per week in the winter. Several of the museum employees worked with Prince and keep the vision true to what Prince had established during his life. No alcohol or meat is permitted at Paisley Park. Since Prince’s estate has not been settled, everything they do must be approved by Comerica who is currently overseeing the estate. National Artists continue to stop by Paisley Park as their tours pass through Minneapolis/St. Paul. Paisley Park is completely booked Super Bowl week. Every April there will be a celebration of Prince’s life.
This Labor Day weekend will bring a Battle of the Bands which will pit nine bands against one another with the winner getting access to recording facility and mentorship by Prince’s band. Tickets are $100 for the event. Prince was very interested in encouraging the next generation of musicians.

    SPOTLIGHT ON PASTOR ROD ANDERSON
Pastor Rod began his invocation at age 30 when he came to Eden Prairie. Now at age 70, he is stilled called to ministry. He joined Rotary at age 38. His wife was a Physical Therapist and they have three children, two of which currently work on the same block in Eden Prairie. When he came to Eden Prairie. St. Andrews was renting space from Forest Hills School and grew over the years to a multi-facility congregation and a camp in Hackensack, MN. Pastor Rod fondly remembers the Job Transition Group started during his tenure at St Andrew’s. After St. Andrew’s Pastor Rod spent two years as interim chaplain at Gustavus Adolphus and still serves as an ambassador for the college and as a resource for The Colony in Eden Prairie. Pastor Rod is also very active with the American Swedish Institute Board and the Eden Prairie Community Foundation Board.
