Peggy Munro Scholberg, an Apple Valley resident, is pleased to announce the publication of Girls in a World at War.
During WWII, Peggy's mother served as a Dietician in the Army overseas in France. She worked in a hospital that was a converted horse barn situated near the 82nd Airborne quarters and in close proximity to the Battle of the Bulge. Patients included survivors released from the Dachau concentration camp.
Her mother typed up her experiences when Peggy was just a baby. Peggy edited and shortened the document and it has recently been published at Kirk House Publishing in Burnsville.
Peggy is pleased to tell others of experiences of women who served in WWII.
