2020-2021 Rotary Interns' VocationalsAnoushkha Koutharapu grew up in Idaho and moved to Minnesota in 2016. She talked about her family, her career interests, which include those related to STEM, and her hobbies, such as painting, traveling, and reading. Through Jacob Plourde's vocational, Rotarians learned that he grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He also described his family, which includes his mom, dad, sister, and brother. He also stated that he is in the Honors Choir, and he enjoys working at the zoo. He also is a volunteer at hospitals and his church. Julia Wang talked about her childhood in Wisconsin, including participating in dance and playing the piano. She moved to Minnesota in 2016, and she loves crafting and volunteering in her free time. Currently, she is looking into a career in the health care. Additionally, she enjoys visiting her family in Taiwan. Mallory Miller conveyed the influence of her grandmother on her life and on the way she views the world. She was also happy to inform the Rotary that she is going to attend Iowa State University next year. Mallory also described the importance of swimming in her life. Spotlight on Matt CraneMatt Crane's father started a number of businesses, and his mother started her journey as a teacher after raising Matt and his siblings. He was very fortunate to have a childhood where he had a lot of support from his family and his friends. In high school, Matt moved to Mankato for one of his dad's companies and started his journey, which eventually led him to the Twin Cities. He went to Gustavus Adolphus for college, and he played hockey there for four years. He also met some incredible individuals and had great opportunities while he was there. He is currently working at Boulay for 20 years where he has met and worked with great professionals and entrepreneurs. Matt joined the Rotary seven years ago, where he has served as the Speaker Chair and President. Matt has four kids, and he loves spending time with his family at the lake in the summer. He also enjoys watching hockey games in his free time.
