Doug B. Loon will be our speaker for next Tuesday, July 20th.  Doug is President of the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, a position he has held since September 8, 2015.  The Minnesota Chamber represents more than 2,300 Minnesota businesses, 130 local chambers and 65 business trade associations at the Minnesota Legislature on a variety of issues that impact Minnesota's economy.  Doug will be speaking on the Chamber Foundation's report, Minnesota 2030, an analysis of Minnesota's economic recovery and the prospects for long-term growth.

 

 

Sandhya Gupta joined us for a discussion on her projects in India, including the grant our club just supported to create a program to provide job training skills for women, allowing them to gain economic independence.
