Santa Claus, Papa Elf and his bell-ringing associates, and the Chamber Choir from Eden Prairie High School were all part of our wonderful Family Holiday Breakfast on Dec. 20 at Bearpath Golf & Country Club.
Guests – including small children and other family members – were brought by a number of club members, including Jane McGinty, Matt Crane, Josh Swanson, Gene Storms, Stella Lindberg, Elaine Larabee, Pei Ling Jamison, Bill Yeager, Adam Seidel, Roy Terwilliger, Dan O’Brien, Irene Kelly, Kevin Kraemer, and Ale Pena Gonzalez. It made for a large gathering.
Intern Stella Lindberg won the Ugly Sweater Contest.
There’s no club meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 27, but bring your smartphone and tablet on Jan. 3, when our meeting will be a club assembly and we’ll spend some time on Rotary-related technology.
The Swallowship happy hour for January will be Jan. 12 at Piper’s (formerly JJ’s Coffee & Wine Bar).
The Winter Social will be on Sat., Jan. 28, with a 3-course dinner at Cast & Cru restaurant followed by the show, Million Dollar Quartet, at the Old Log Theater. A Family Fun Sledding Party at Staring Lake is also being planned for a different date.
