EPAM Rotary Interns - Virtual Zoom Meeting

Sharing their experiences, perspectives, observations and recommendations

Join us live on Zoom anytime after 7:15AM. Meeting will begin at 7:35.

Hear from our amazing team of Rotary Interns! Kayla, Kevin, Mrinalni and Nicki will each share a short segment about themselves, including what they've enjoyed, learned and observed. They will offer their observations on what could bring more member value and expand our impact and influence in our community! This is through their combined research, brainstorming, and proposed ideas for possible future things our club could do to improve all our experiences.

Leadership Through Change: How to Prepare your Club for What's Next
Notes from April 7, 2020
Mike Rayburn - "What If?" Keynote Experience
Our guest via Zoom was professional speaker and entertainer Mike Rayburn, whose outstanding guitar work was interspersed with messages to inspire A.M. Rotarians.

It’s Mike’s belief that each of us is a gold mine of unrealized potential, and we have numerous opportunities each day to tap this gold mine. But it requires that we change our brain’s normal way of questioning our thoughts and ideas. “The key is to be willing to set aside the old thinking,” noted Mike, “and say, ‘What if? What if we could do that differently? What would it look like?’”

Secondly, we should be looking for reasons something can, not can’t, be accomplished.

days he has been working on philanthropic adventures and his business, Conners Consulting.
Finally, Mike urged that in these pandemic times we flip the script by helping a neighbor, first, and thinking about personal success second. We may just find that success becomes a byproduct of helping out, he added.
