The Champion’s Code: Building Relationships Through Life Lessons of Integrity and Accountability from the Sports World to the Business World”

The best-selling author of nearly 50 sports books, Ross Bernstein is an award-winning peak performance business speaker who's keynoted conferences on four continents and has been featured on many national news programs. Hi program is based on a series of books he wrote in which he was able to interview more than 500 professional athletes and coaches that all had one thing in common — they were all members of championship teams. In his research he concluded that the same metrics and characteristics that were common among champions in sports, were also common in peak performers in business. As he learned, champions have a very unique DNA — and his goal in this keynote session is to get audience members thinking about their own DNA — and about the DIFFERENTIATORS they possess which would ultimately lead customers to CHOOSE to do business with them.

FAMILY HOLIDAY BREAKFAST DELIGHT!

We were the beneficiaries of a wonderful performance of Christmas songs by the Eden Prairie High School Concert Chamber Choir under the direction of Julie Kanthak. All 26 members of the choir shared a little about themselves including their post high school plans.

As they arrived, the children got to visit with Santa, received a holiday gift,and had their picture taken with Santa (Photos to be posted to web soon.)

Prior to the concert Jay the Elf with the assistance of Elves in training (Roger and Jon) read the perennial favorite, There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bell, to the children.

The ugly sweater contest came down to a showdown between Jay (the Elf) and Kate Karja (Dave Sundet’s daughter) with Kate taking Jay down for the title.

Jane McGinty presented a Christmas gift to Art (RYE student) and Art spoke briefly about his life in Thailand and about his experiences in Eden Prairie. Members are encouraged to invite Art to family and winter events. He is interested in attending a Hockey game for the first time. We are still looking for host families for Art.
