David Anderson and more - Golden Eagle Awards Breakfast
Naomi Rogge and Jordan Greenberg were presented Golden Eagle Awards on Tuesday, May 30, by the Eden Prairie A.M. Rotary Club. Each of the winners gets a trophy and a $1,000 scholarship.

The two were chosen from 10 female and 10 male student-athletes and seniors at Eden Prairie High School. The finalists and winners are picked based on a combination of grade-point averages and athletic honors accumulated in grades 9-12. As a group, the 20 senior finalists had a GPA of 3.77 (out of 4.0), have earned 120 letters, and captained 27 EPHS teams.

Rogge is a multi-sport athlete – participating in hockey, soccer, and lacrosse – with a 3.68 GPA. Lauded as a team leader, she is headed to the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where she will play Division I hockey.

Greenberg is an all-state swimmer and diver who has a 3.82 GPA and has been called the fastest swimmer EPHS has produced. He’s headed to Stanford University, where he’ll be part of the swim team.

Other female finalists were Brynn Boston, Brooke Bratrud, Hannah Brink, Allison Cottrell, Cassie Gross, Lindsay Eliasen, Brooke Ericksen, Samantha Morton, and Jennie Novak.

Other male finalists were Dantel Anderson, Thomas Fuller, Nicholas Leivermann, Jacob Neuman, William Pahl, Austin Pham, Nolan Sullivan, Niklaus Zeller, and Jackson Zaugg.

Attending the program at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, in addition to Rotarians, were school officials, media, and family members. The club has presented the Golden Eagle Award annually since 1989.
