Originally from Moldova, Anna lives in Minnetonka and today has family and friends in Moldova, Ukraine, and Russia. Moldova is one of the countries that border Ukraine. In this talk, Anna will share the historical political events and cultural facts that will help explain the origins of the Ukraine-Russia war. Dr. Anna Prisacari is working as a User Experience Researcher at Amazon. There she works on a team that builds HR data-driven tools for Amazon leaders and their associates. Before Amazon, Anna worked at Honeywell where she worked on commercial building technologies that make buildings smarter, safer, and more energy-efficient. Anna received Masters' and a Ph.D. Degree in Human-Computer Interaction at Iowa State University and Bachelor’s in International Business and Marketing and MBA from St. Ambrose University. Anna moved to Minneapolis 5 years ago and is a member of the City of Lakes Rotary Club.
