Notes from July 18, 2017
NEW ROTARY THEME: "ROTARY: MAKING A DIFFERENCE"
Video featuring Rotary International President Ian Riseley spoke to the new theme:

    - An expression often stated about Rotary is “making a difference”
    - Each club makes a difference in its own way
    - We do more together than as individuals
    - We have a great spirit of teamwork that must be kept alive
    - Focus on building stronger and more active clubs

President Jorgensen gave a quick overview of our goals for the year (too numerous and detailed to capture in notes) Each of the Board members explained the work of different committees they represent and highlighted where help was especially needed.

All members were then asked to sign up for committees and projects where they’d like to make a difference this year! Roger promised a prize for everyone who turned theirs in today.
He also invited all past club presidents (shown below) to come up and thanked them for their leadership and continued support.
