STRIVE Program Makes a Difference!

Twenty juniors and twenty seniors will meet with their mentors at monthly meetings throughout the school year to talk about goal-setting, college/work options, strategies for success, and resources available to them. In addition, individuals keep in contact so that the students know there is another adult supporting them as they make decisions regarding high school and options beyond. The Eden Prairie AM Rotary Club recognizes the participants at a breakfast in the spring and awards a number of college scholarships each year to participants.

This is the ninth year for the STRIVE program and 325 students have participated since 2003. Our club sent scholarships for 10 students from last year's group who are attending St. Cloud State, U of MN Rochester, U of M Twin Cities, North Dakota School of Science, and Normandale.
