Willl a "portfolio life" become your second half story?
Charles Handy, Irish economist, once described a “portfolio life” as, “A portfolio of activities – some we do for money, some for interest, some for pleasure, some for a cause…the different bits fit together to form a balanced whole…greater than the parts.”  George Dow's presentation will focus on how we can reshape our personal, professional and community lives in our second half. George will be making  frequent reference to the book,Portfolio Life, by David Corbett. Each of the five elements of Corbett’s model will be described, along with the inspirational stories that help convert the book's theories into achievable realities.  Here is a link to George’s blog that offers more details on these five portfolio life elements:http://georgedow.com/will-a-portfolio-life-become-your-second-half-story
