Group Study Exchange

Rotary International sponsors an exchange program for non-Rotarians to tour a designated country for four to six weeks. A Rotarian always leads the group. Language competency is often a requirement. The purpose of the exchange is to foster international understanding among people with similar vocations. GSE’s from overseas that visit this District are often assigned to the Club for care, diverse cultural activities and lodging for about a week in the spring. This is an opportunity for members of our club to meet and exchange ideas with people from other lands who have similar vocations. For Rotarians with second language abilities it is an opportunity for a tour of another country while serving as a GSE leader.
