Peace Scholar

Rotary International sponsors one and two-year scholarships for overseas university and post-graduate study. Scholarship applications are acquired from the District office. Foreign students studying in the local area on Ambassadorial scholarships are invited (in fact, required) to speak to the Club. There is always a need for interaction at the personal level with these bright, savvy and outgoing students. Indeed this interaction is at the very heart of the Ambassadorial Scholarship’s purpose. (We had a student apply in Spring 2011 which was the last year for that program. Peace Fellowships will be the new emphasis of Rotary International.)
