DR. JOSH SWANSON - SUPERINTENDENT OF EDEN PRAIRIE SCHOOLS: INSPIRING EACH STUDENT EVERY DAY
One our own, Dr. Josh Swanson, updated us on the mission and vision for Eden Prairie Schools for the next five years. Dr. Swanson shared results of a survey of the community regarding the perception of the District by its residents. A couple highlights were 99% approval of teacher performance and 98% overall quality education rating. Included in his presentation were a couple of videos, one of which featured our own Phillip Kuhn. CLICK HERE to see the video. The schools' primary focus areas over the next five years include:

1. Personalize learning through deepening partnerships between students and teachers and intervene where students in need are identified. CLICK HERE for more.

2. Eliminate achievement disparities.

3. Engage stakeholders to achieve mission. See link for overview of Designing Pathways – The Road map to
Reach each Student. CLICK HERE.
