Rotary Candidate Forum

At our last meeting candidates running for the State Senate District 48B, State Representative District - 48A, and State Representative District - 48B joined us for our forum. Candidates Jeff Jiang and Steve Cwodzinsk for the State Senate District 48B. Candidate Laurie Pryor for State Representative District - 48A. Candidates Holly Link and Carlie Kotyza-Witthuhn for State Representative District - 48B. Candidates were asked to talk about topics such as affordable housing, healthcare, transportation and more. 

All of the candidates had good responses to each question, below are a few highlights. 

Jeff Jiang - BallotpediaCandidate Jeff Jiang discussed how he wants to take a balanced approach when it comes to accommodating needs for residences and affordable housing. Jeff also talked about how he wants to make reasonable decisions for energy efficiency.

 

 

 

  

Minnesota State SenateCandidate Steve Cwodzinski talked about how he supports the new transportation system. Steve also talked about how he is advocating for more teachers of color and room for more improvement in police reform. 

 

 

 

 

HOME - Laurie Pryor for State HouseCandidate Laurie Pryor is thankful to have been able to reconnect with people and hear how their stories have turned out during her candidate process. She also is in strong favor for renewable energy.  

 

 

 

 

Eden Prairie School Board member Holly Link announces campaign for House  District 48B seat | Eden Prarie News | swnewsmedia.comCandidate Holly Link wants to work on sustainable housing for individuals. From experience on the school board for putting solar panels on schools, Holly is interested in exploring clean energy. 

 

 

 

 

DFLer Carlie Kotyza-Witthuhn wins House District 48B seat | Election |  swnewsmedia.comCandidate Carlie Kotyza-Witthuhn is interested in investing for rental units for more affordable housing. Carlie was also an initiative to climate change and plans to continue doing so.
