Password: 011364  Don's a Rotarian and Past President (2007-'08) of the Bloomington Noon Club and has held various positions at the District level including District Rotary Foundation Committee Chair. He's currently "District Program Chair," which includes grants, scholarships, and grant training and offers oversight to both the "Global Grant" and "District Grant" responsibilities. He's visited Rotary grant projects in India, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia, Guatemala, and Germany. He will address the effectiveness, efficiency and stewardship of The Rotary Foundation and how TRF impacts our grants and projects, both locally and around the world! Don's message is timed to team up with EPAM Club updates from our Rotary Foundation Chair, Roger Jorgensen and from Community Foundation Chair, Carol Bomben and World Commuity Service Chair, Jenifer Loon on our community and international grants and giving. Very valuable for all members! Plan on a strong Q & A on anything grants, TRF, District and Global Match!

Fifty-seven members and guests gathered on-line to hear from Clementine and host parents Harriet and Tom Bollig, Amy and Nathan Nyren and Lori Thune and Blake Cadwallader who were on tap as the third host family but Covid-19 derailed those plans. Jane McGinty shared a video including several of Clementine’s new friends from EPHS. We heard stories beginning with the fact that Clementine’s luggage did not arrive until ten days after she did and many of her experiences. Clementine shared a recorded cello performance and Clementine’s parents shared thank you to Rotary for welcoming Clementine and sharing the many experiences with her.
Sharon grew up in the Minnetonka/Hopkins area. She is married to Carl and they have a daughter Morgan and two dogs. Sharon was a former Hopkins Raspberry Festival Queen and U of M graduate. She had a very successful professional career working at Federal Reserve, IBM (25 years), Xcel Energy holding several key management and professional positions. Sharon volunteers with League of Women Voters, EP Poll Judge and U of M CLA English Board. She enjoys spending time at their cabin north of Pequot Lakes, snowshoeing, travelling to both coasts to visit family and golfing at Bearpath.
