Warm Hands, Warm Heads, Warm Hearts

In response to the need to shield the heads of homeless youngsters from the harsh Minnesota winters, the Warm Hands, Warm Heads, Warm Hearts Project (originally “Hats for the Homeless”) was launched in 1993 by a member of the Edina Morningside Rotary Club. Since then, the project has expanded to include hats and mittens for children in need from all walks of life, with sources of distribution that include schools, churches, shelters, and other organizations. Our club typically picks the items up in Hopkins on a Saturday morning in November, and delivers them to PROP Shop for donation.
