New Member Recruitment Procedure & Classification
The Eden Prairie Rotary Club requires that a new member attend four consecutive meetings prior to being inducted into membership. New members are asked to join by a representative of the Board of Directors after the new member's biographical information has been reviewed by the Board of Directors and the Board has passed a motion for approval. The motion for approval should contain a recommended vocational classification.
It is the general recommended policy of Rotary International not to have more than two active members in a club with the same vocational classification in order to maintain the Rotary Club as a balanced cross section of the business community. To propose a candidate for membership, complete the New Member Candidate and the New Member Sponsor Forms and forward them to the club Secretary. Both of these forms can be downloaded from this web-site.
