Weekly door prize

The door prize is a fundraiser for the club at meetings. At each meeting, a member is asked to donate a gift of at least $25 in value to be raffled to the members. Tickets are $1 each or 3 tickets for $2. A member may purchase as many tickets as he/she would like. Like the inspiration, the door prize responsibility rotates among the members in alphabetical order. In selecting a gift for the door prize, members should keep in mind the gender and age differences of the club members and try to offer something they would personally enjoy receiving.

Members will be notified prior to the meeting when they are responsible for the door prize. Members who are unable to attend a meeting when they are scheduled to contribute the door prize should swap their schedule with another member.
